How to Download and Activate Audiobro LA Scoring Strings 3
Audiobro LA Scoring Strings 3 (LASS 3) is a comprehensive and versatile string library that offers realistic and expressive sounds for your music production. Whether you are composing for film, TV, games, or other media, LASS 3 can help you create stunning orchestral arrangements with ease and flexibility.
In this article, we will show you how to download and activate LASS 3 using the Audiobro Download Center (ADC) and Native Access. You will need a valid serial number and an internet connection to complete the process.
Step 1: Download and Launch the Audiobro Download Center (ADC)
The ADC is an application that installs and maintains your Audiobro libraries. It is simple to use and optimized for speed. It supports Mac OS 10.13+ and Windows 10+.
After purchasing LASS 3 from the Audiobro website[^1^], you must log in and then you will be able to see links for the ADC application as well as the Kontakt Player when logged in. Download and install both applications on your system.
Launch the ADC and log in using your existing Audiobro credentials, by accepting both terms of the agreements, and clicking âLog Inâ. Your newly purchased library should be listed for you to download:
Step 2: Download Your Library
Click on the âDownloadâ button next to LASS 3 and choose a destination folder for your library. Make sure you have enough disk space available (about 40 GB) and that the folder name matches the .nicnt name of the library. For example, if your .nicnt name is âLA Scoring Strings.nicntâ, then you should have âLA Scoring Stringsâ in the folder name.
The ADC will start downloading the library files in chunks. You can pause or resume the download at any time. You can also verify the integrity of the downloaded files by clicking on the âVerifyâ button.
Step 3: Launch Native Access
Native Access is an application that manages your Native Instruments products and libraries. You will need it to activate LASS 3 and add it to Kontakt.
Launch Native Access from your applications folder or from within Kontakt by clicking on âManage Librariesâ and then âLaunch Native Accessâ. If you arenât signed in automatically, enter your Native Instruments username and password and sign in. If you do not yet have a Native Instruments account you can create one from the login screen.
Step 4: Add Serial Number
You can copy your serial number from your ADC application (just click on the serial number and it will be added to your clipboard,) or from your My Account area on the Audiobro website. In the bottom left of Native Access, click Add Serial and enter your serial number:
Step 5: Find Your Library
For ease of use, select the âALLâ and âALLâ filters at the top of the page as seen below. Note, some older pre-NKS libraries may not show up unless you have both âAllâ selected:
Then, open the Kontakt tab and find LASS 3. If you had already activated the library in the past, then you can look for it in the âNot Installedâ section at the top.
Step 6: Click On âLocateâ
You can click the Locate button in Native Access and navigate to ec8f644aee
