MBBS in Lugansk State Medical University

Lugansk State Medical University was founded in 1956 also called Voroshilovgrad state medical university. I.D. Vashenko was the first rector of LSMU who is the honored doctor of Ukraine.
The LSMU has received IVth accreditation level by Ministry of Health, Ukraine. The institute has more than 170 medical specialties, 400 medical staff, 60 doctors of science, 270 candidates involved in research & development projects.
The university has 3 academic buildings including laboratories for scientific research, fully equipped dental clinic, a center for family medicine, pharmacy labs etc. LSMU has a long term highly experienced teachers who always endeavor to provide quality education to students.

Courses Offered at LSMU

1.General Medicine: (MBBS)

LSMU offers 6-years MBBS course in medicine & degree awarded as MD in medicine. At LSMU, the curriculum provides innovative teaching, clinical training & research programs.

2.Dentistry: (BDS)

The institute offers a 5-year course in dentistry & degree awarded after completion of the course is Bachelor of Dental Surgery.

3.Pediatrics:

LSMU offers 5-years medical course to UG students & degree awarded after completion, of course, is Bachelor of Pediatrician. LSMU provides the training to specialize in diagnosis & treatment of disease and care of children.

4.Pharmacy:

LSMU offers the 5-year undergraduate course in Pharmacy & degree awarded after completion of the course is Bachelor of Pharmacist or B.Pharm.

5.Postgraduate Course:

LSMU offers the postgraduate courses in various specialization with a duration of 2-3 years.

6.Premedical Courses:
